Going Global! Henan Gaohexin Cylinder Head Precision Casting Co., Ltd. Officially Launches Foreign Trade Business, with First Shipment to Southeast Asia
Recently, the first batch of 500 Isuzu cylinder heads exported to Southeast Asia by Henan Gaohexin Cylinder Head Precision Casting Co., Ltd. was successfully shipped to Thailand via Ningbo Port. This marks the official launch of the factory’s foreign trade business, achieving a crucial leap from “serving the domestic market” to “connecting with the global market”.
Since its establishment in 2001, the factory has continuously optimized production processes and improved product quality, gradually becoming a core supplier of engine components for domestic brands such as Toyota and Mitsubishi, with an annual production capacity exceeding 50,000 units. As competition in the domestic market intensified, the factory launched the “Foreign Trade Preparation Plan” in 2009: it established a professional foreign trade team, conducted in-depth research on the needs of the automotive after-sales market in regions like Southeast Asia and the Middle East, and optimized the sealing performance of its products to adapt to tropical climate conditions. Specifically, the machining precision of the cylinder head sealing grooves was upgraded to ±0.01mm, and high-temperature-resistant sealing materials were adopted to ensure product reliability in high-temperature and high-humidity environments.
“To meet the compliance requirements of overseas markets, we spent 6 months obtaining the ISO 9001 international quality management system certification. Each exported product is equipped with a multilingual quality inspection report and installation guide,” introduced Lee, the person in charge of the Foreign Trade Department. The cooperation with a Thai commercial vehicle after-sales enterprise this time is precisely based on the latter’s recognition of the factory’s product quality. “The customer tested 10 cylinder heads in advance, and after 200 hours of simulated working condition operation, the leakage rate was 0, fully meeting their procurement standards.”
It is understood that the first batch of 500 cylinder heads covers mainstream models such as Isuzu 4JJ1 and 4KH1. In the future, the factory will further expand its product line to include brands like Ford and Mercedes-Benz, with a plan to increase the proportion of foreign trade sales to 30% of total revenue within 3 years and gradually build a global sales network. The launch of the foreign trade business is not only a significant milestone in the factory’s development but also accumulates valuable experience for domestic engine components to enter the international market.
